Year 6 pupils enjoyed watching ‘real magic’ in the Science Labs recently, using the Van Der Graaf and gold leaves! Students looked at how oppositely charged objects can be used in levitation, as well as charging themselves up with over 1000V of electricity! Students were able to see how a charged rod can bend water, and all went away hoping to try their magical powers at home, just like Matilda!
