Oracy Day

Senior Students took part in Oracy Day - a day in which speaking and listening are practised and celebrated, and no pens or laptops are in sight! The theme was “Our Planet and Beyond” and all took part in a Balloon Debate representing a character they believe to have made the most important impact on this planet and in the “Sixty Seconds to Save the Planet” speech. Other activities included: building a bridge in Science,  precision building tasks in Maths, a MUN style debate on how the UN might respond in a “first contact from aliens” situation, to name but a few.
