Nurturing Confident, Happy Learners

At our Pre School, we embrace a child-centred curriculum that recognises every child as a unique individual.

Our goal is to nurture happiness, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Through tailored daily planning, we meet the developmental needs of each child while adhering to the government’s revised Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This covers essential areas of development such as:

  • Personal, Social, and Emotional Development
  • Communication and Language
  • Physical Development
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Expressive Arts and Design: Dance, Drama, Art, and Music
  • Understanding the World

What truly sets us apart is our enhanced Early Years curriculum, enriched by specialist teaching across a range of subjects. Throughout the week, children enjoy immersive lessons led by experienced subject teachers in areas such as:

  • Forest School: Engaging with nature through hands-on exploration.
  • Physical Education and Games: Promoting physical development and teamwork.
  • Performing Arts: Nurturing creativity through dance, drama, and music.
  • French and Music Lessons: Expanding communication and cultural awareness.
  • Library Visits: Encouraging early literacy and a love for reading.

Our children also benefit from access to outstanding facilities, including weekly swimming lessons in our very own 25-metre pool, building water confidence and motor skills from an early age.
Beyond the classroom, our rich extracurricular offerings further enhance our curriculum. Children can participate in activities such as ballet, mini tennis, and Taekwon-Do, providing additional avenues for self-expression and physical development.

We believe in fostering a strong connection to the wider school community, helping children make a seamless transition to Reception. They take part in school-wide events such as the Nativity play, swimming gala, and Sports Day — each offering valuable opportunities to build confidence, celebrate achievements, and develop a sense of belonging.
