The Sixth Form Experience

At Radnor House Sevenoaks, our Sixth Form students receive a first-class education.

The broad range of subjects available, combined with small, seminar-style classes, ensures that students receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.

Academic Support and Monitoring

Students’ academic progress and attainment are closely monitored and supported throughout their Sixth Form studies. Each student is assigned a tutor with whom they regularly meet to discuss progress and address any issues impacting their performance. The Sixth Form staff team, including the Head of Sixth Form, tutors, and subject teachers, also meet regularly to review student progress. This frequent assessment and reporting process is designed to help students challenge themselves and reach their full academic potential.

Our dedicated and specialist Sixth Form team is committed to enabling students to achieve academic success by fostering a love of learning in a supportive and positive environment. We strive to ensure that our students become responsible and motivated individuals, each with a genuine enjoyment of learning and an ambition to achieve.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)

A successfully completed EPQ is highly regarded by the country's leading universities and employers. Developing independent research and analytical skills alongside the ability to produce extended pieces of work is excellent preparation for the rigours of Higher Education. At Radnor, every student in Year 12 begins the EPQ by developing an initial idea, undertaking preliminary research, and completing a work plan in the Autumn term. While not mandatory, students are encouraged to take their EPQ through to accreditation.
