Welcome to the Prep School
Our school is centred around a stunning courtyard within the historic stable block of the original manor house. Over 300 years old and Grade 1 Listed, our classrooms are light, airy, and imbued with a traditional charm.
Our grounds truly set us apart. Beech Walk, our bespoke play space nestled in the heart of our woodland, is accessed via a secret woodland pathway, adding a magical touch to each day.
We embrace outdoor and adventure education through our Forest School areas. Our Outdoor Education curriculum encourages pupils to explore, take risks, engage with their environment, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and others.
Equally significant are our extensive sports facilities, including a 25-metre swimming pool used weekly by all Prep School students. Our 30-acre grounds feature an astroturf, numerous sports pitches, netball and tennis courts, and a fitness suite.

The School Day
The school day runs Monday to Friday with six periods each day, starting with registration at 8.20am. The school day ends at 3.30pm for Pre School to Year 3 and at 3.45pm for Years 3-6.
Wrap care is available from 7.30am to 6.00pm at an additional cost, bookable via SOCS. Breakfast is provided for Year 3 and up from 7.45am at no extra charge. Additionally, students in Year 3 and above can join Homework Club from 3.45pm to 5.00pm at no extra charge.
Lunch
Meals are prepared on site by our award-winning caterers, Thomas Franks. Each lunch offers a wide selection of main courses, including vegan, vegetarian, non-vegetarian options, pasta, jacket potatoes, a diverse salad bar, daily fresh fruit, yoghurt, and pudding. Children have fruit at break times and a snack tea if staying for after-school activities. Thomas Franks prioritises nutritious, healthy food, using local suppliers, sustainable fishing, and recycling as much waste as possible.

Transport
Prep School pupils can use the school bus service starting in Year 3. We operate six different bus routes serving the local area, plus a shuttle to Sevenoaks station for pupils in afternoon clubs.
