Celebrating Language Day in Nursery
This week, our Nursery came together to celebrate Language Day, a wonderful opportunity to embrace the rich diversity of languages within our community. The children were excited to welcome two parent visitors, who introduced them to German and Italian words and phrases, bringing language learning to life in a fun and interactive way. Mrs. Rouse shared some Turkish, while Mrs. Webb captivated everyone with a Spanish story, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm among the children.
To mark the occasion, the children decorated colourful flags, proudly parading them around while dressed in outfits reflecting the colours of their chosen countries. It was a fantastic day filled with culture, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the many languages spoken in our school community. A huge thank you to all the parents and staff who helped make this celebration so memorable!
