Radnor 5's Festival Brings Schools Together for an Afternoon of Sport
Radnor House Sevenoaks was delighted to host its second Radnor 5’s Festival of the academic year, welcoming 13 local prep schools for a fantastic afternoon of sport. The event featured a boys’ hockey and girls’ football tournament, both played in a fun and inclusive round-robin format.
Since its introduction, the Radnor 5’s Festival has gone from strength to strength, with its popularity continuing to grow. This time, the school grounds buzzed with energy as the hockey pitch saw non-stop action in mini, quarter-pitch games, giving the players plenty of time on the ball. Meanwhile, the football matches were equally fast-paced, with quick-fire games allowing the girls to compete against a variety of schools in a friendly and engaging environment.
True to the spirit of the festival, no scores were kept, and there were no winners or losers—just an opportunity for pupils to enjoy sport, develop their skills, and embrace the values of teamwork and sportsmanship. At the end of the day, a child from each school was awarded a prize for best exemplifying the Radnor values. However, it was clear that every participant demonstrated enthusiasm, resilience, and respect throughout the event.
We were thrilled to welcome the following schools to Radnor House Sevenoaks for this special festival:
- St Michael’s
- Brookfield
- Holmewood House
- Beechwood
- Sevenoaks Prep
- Cheam Park Farm
- Hilden Grange

A huge thank you to all the pupils and staff who took part, helping to make the festival such a success. We look forward to hosting many more events like this in the future!
