Author and Cartoonist Neill Cameron Inspires Pupils at Radnor House
We were thrilled to welcome author and cartoonist Neill Cameron to Radnor House, where he hosted engaging sessions with Years 3 to 6 in the Prep Library. Neill, best known for his creation Freddy the Awesome Robot from Mega Robo Bros, captivated pupils with his storytelling and illustration techniques, offering them an exciting glimpse into the world of comics and creativity.
During the sessions, pupils explored the process of character creation, learning how to bring their own unique ideas to life through drawing and storytelling. Neill's enthusiasm and expertise inspired the children, who eagerly took on the challenge of designing their own awesome characters.
The visit was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to engage with a professional writer and illustrator, deepening their appreciation for storytelling and the creative process. We are incredibly grateful to Neill Cameron for sharing his time and talent, leaving our young learners excited to continue developing their own imaginative stories and characters.
