ISA London South Junior Cross Country Event 2025
Radnor House Sevenoaks proudly hosted the ISA London South Junior Cross Country Event once again, marking the fourth consecutive year of welcoming young athletes to compete on our home turf. This much-anticipated event serves as the area qualifier for the National Finals, with the top ten finishers in each race earning the opportunity to represent London South nationally at the National Finals in 2 weeks time.
This year’s event saw an impressive turnout, with 18 schools participating and a total of 320 students taking to the course. Runners competed in four highly competitive races: U9 boys, U9 girls, U11 boys and U11 girls. Each race showcased remarkable determination, skill and sportsmanship, as young athletes pushed through the challenging terrain.
The course conditions added to the excitement, with a muddy track and plenty of puddles—ideal for a true cross-country experience. Despite the tough footing, all competitors rose to the occasion, demonstrating resilience and enthusiasm throughout the event.
As the cross-country season comes to a close, this event was a highlight for our students, who had the privilege of competing on familiar ground. We extend our congratulations to all runners, especially those who secured their place at the National Finals. A huge thank you goes to the schools, staff, volunteers and supporters who made the event a success.
We eagerly anticipate another fantastic event next year!
